That Wednesday morning was calm and clear. The stars were still out and the sun hadn't come up yet. There was a thick rush of excitement and love in the air and all around us. We packed up the car and headed to the hospital. It was the morning our daughter was due to enter the world and we were more than ready to meet our beautiful baby girl <3
With my fiancé by my side holding my hand every step of the way and my daughter and mom anxiously waiting for her arrival, the Big Moment came.
Her delivery was so much more than what I had expected. I was calm and very at ease and all of my doctors and nurses were so friendly and nice. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
My fiancé sat beside me and we waited patiently. The rush of emotions were overflowing in me, all wonderful and beyond explanations.
He held my hand and we talked and joked here and there. He made me feel comfortable and safe. It was such a peaceful calm, although my heart was fluttering, waiting for the moment to see your precious face and hear your sweet little cry.
Then the moment we had waited so long for- she came
Hearing her first cry was one of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard in all my life. Something that can't easily be explained. It was as if love was able to be heard by my ears and I was hearing it for the first time.
Then I saw her beautiful face.
My breath was completely stolen. My heart completely melted. My world completely changed.
Rosie little cheeks. Bright little eyes. Dark soft hair on top of a perfectly shaped little head.
Chubby little arms and legs, tiny little hands and feet.
Our beautiful little girl was absolutely perfect in every way and I couldn't have been more in love than I was at that very moment.
She was more beautiful than I had ever expected. Her bright hazel eyes looked right into mine and my heart was instantly hers.
We are truly blessed!

~Getting Closer!~
Our beautiful baby girl Sophia Rose Meyer will arrive into this world on September 25th 2013!
We've been getting our hospital bags and her diaper bag ready and packed. Going through all of her tiny little clothes makes my heart melt! I love getting her room and things ready, it's so exciting and gives me butterflies :)
I am so beyond thrilled/excited/ecstatic to be a mommy again!! I cannot wait for our little cupcake to bless our lives with lots of love, laughter and precious moments! I just daydream about what her pretty little face will look like (although I can already tell by her ultrasound pictures that she will look like daddy), I daydream about holding her tiny hands and feet, cuddling her close to me and kissing her on her sweet little cheeks!
I've been blessed with a smooth pregnancy with no complications, a wonderful fiancé right by my side throughout it all, and loving and supportive friends and family. I couldn't have asked for more! We are so excited as the time draws closer! Sophia will definitely be surrounded with tons of love!
As I sit here and feel her kick and move around, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with happiness, joy and excitement!! We are more than ready for this new and amazing chapter in our lives as mommy and daddy, again!

..::Our Beautiful Baby::..
Our beautiful little baby boy/girl and their very first photo debut!!
Seeing our little "gummy bear" move and wiggle its little arms and legs and seeing their little heart flutter was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! My heart just overflowed with love and my eyes just filled with tears...such an amazing sight! This is the definition of Love at First Sight! I am completely in LOVE!! Words just cannot describe how blessed I am with my beautiful little growing family <3

WE'RE EXPECTING!!
IT'S OFFICIAL!! WE'RE EXPECTING!!
My fiance and I decided that we wanted to bring a new bundle of joy into the world. On January 28th, 2013, our wish came true! After I took my first digital test reading "Pregnant", and 3 tests following due to my disbelief (and pure excitement), it was pretty safe to say WE ARE EXPECTING!! I cried and just hugged my fiance, I couldn't believe the feeling of how incredibly happy and excited I was and still am! We are both so very happy about our new baby boy or girl on the way!! My daydreams overflow everyday about what he or she will look like and be like, and the endless amount of happiness and love he or she will fill our lives with! SO many wonderful things ahead!!! I'm so impatient waiting to find out if our baby is a boy or a girl! We are 2 months pregnant right now, so we have a little ways to wait.
I am so unbelievably happy and excited for my fiance and I to bring a beautiful bundle of joy into the world!! My heart is just overflowing with joy and love! We are so blessed!

WE'RE ENGAGED!! 12-23-12
I am officially a proud USAF fiancee!!
On the crisp Indiana winter evening of December 23, 2012, my boyfriend gave me the best early Christmas surprise gift I could ever receive! The place was special to the both of us, so much meaning behind our "random" visit :) As I stood there unaware, I felt his hands turn me around and as soon as we were looking into each other's eyes, he kneeled down on one knee and said the most beautiful words I have ever heard anyone ever speak and asked me to marry him as he placed the ring on my finger....I was completely speechless! I stood there, feeling as though my heart could explode with happiness,love,shock- not able to find a single word to say. All I could do was bury my head into his shoulder and hug him tight while tears just ran down from my eyes.
That moment felt like a dream!
So there we were, on this beautiful December night, with the snow sparkling like diamonds all around us, holding each other tight, in this perfect moment together.
We are on our new journey together. A new chapter in our lives. A part of passion that brings our love even closer and stronger together. Something so beautiful and precious that we will share together all of our lives. We are soulmates brought together by Fate, kept together by our everlasting love.
I have had his heart from day one, and he has had mine as well. Through all the ups and downs, roadblocks and mistakes, there truly is no obstacle that could ever keep a love like ours apart. We share a part of each other that no one has ever known or experienced from us, our own special bond, our own special love. I believe what my fiance and I have is something truly rare, once in a lifetime love. I am absolutely blessed beyond words.
I know our love will flourish and continue to grow even stronger and reach new depths as we are on our journey towards our chapter as husband and wife.
He will forever hold my heart, and I will forever hold his.

Each one of us are on our own path. We all have a reason why we have chosen the path we are on and why we are taking it. Our journeys are very different from one to the next. The pitfalls and blessings we encounter are unique to our own lives and experiences. We are all learning from our experiences and no one form of knowledge is more important than any other. Each experience brings different knowledge and every person learns and develops in different ways.
When you observe others, it can be easy to pass judgment on others decisions and assume their actions will correspond the same with what you feel is right. But everyones actions don't reflect those of the next persons. We all have our own reasoning behind the actions we take and the decisions we make. It's important to accept each person's unique way of doing things and the reasons why they do so. Giving others the freedom to act in the way they feel are best for them on their own unique path without the harsh judgments is important in honoring their capacity for growth.
Never judge the decisions of others based on the path you would have taken. Every person lives by different values based on their own preference and experiences. Each person values different things on different levels as the next person. What is most important to you may not be as of the same importance to the next person.
We all deal with difficulties in our own way. We all have the capacity to forgive and move forward, or continue to fight and fall behind. Everyone, at some point in time, will or has failed at something. Everyone has had a point of weakness and defeat. But we all also have the capacity to stand up again in the darkness of weakness and defeat. Difficulties and failure may be inevitable, but everyone chooses their own way of dealing and their own strength that allows them to stand up again.
Everyone has to decide their own process of learning and growing. It's not always right to try and fix people or control certain situations. You cannot control what you did not decide. You cannot pull another individual off their chosen path. As angry and spiteful of emotions someone else's path may bring you, it simply isn't your journey and you simply have no control in that part of their destiny.
Choosing the right path and making decisions is another step towards growing, learning, experience and wisdom and each person is entitled to their own. This ultimately means stepping back, dissolving judgment, and gracefully allowing others to live their own destinies.
Giving others the freedom to blossom in their own journey gives you the freedom to take more notice of your own journey and it gives you the opportunity to pay more attention to your own life lessons. You may not condone the actions you see taking place and you may be quick to place judgements and retaliate, but your reactions will be more accepting and enlightening by letting it go and letting them be.
When you find your own ability to let others be as they are and to let things go, letting their journey and destiny unfold as it is meant to be, you will be able to focus more on being yourself and traveling your own journey and understand that the path you are on is right and valid for you, as others paths they are on are right and valid for them.
